If you’re logged into PrjNx but cannot see expected projects or tasks, the issue is almost always related to access scope or workspace context, not missing data. 

This guide explains how to identify and resolve visibility issues quickly. 

First, Confirm You Are in the Correct Workspace 

If your organization uses multiple workspaces, you may be logged into the wrong one. 

What to check: 

  • Verify the workspace name 
  • Switch to the correct workspace if multiple options are available 

Projects and tasks are always tied to a specific workspace. 

Confirm You Have Been Added to the Project 

Workspace access does not automatically grant access to every project. 

You may: 

  • Be part of the workspace 
  • But not yet added to the specific project 

Recommended action: 
Ask a Project Manager or admin to confirm your project membership. 

Check Your Assigned Role 

Your role determines what you can see and do. 

If your role has limited permissions, you may: 

  • See only assigned tasks 
  • Not see the full project structure 

Recommended action: 
Request a role review if broader visibility is required. 

Confirm You Are Logged in with the Correct Account 

If you use Google or Office 365 sign-in, you may have multiple accounts. 

What to check: 

  • Ensure you are using the same account that was invited 
  • Log out and log back in if unsure 

Using a different account will not show the expected projects. 

Check if the Project Was Recently Created 

If a project was created recently: 

  • You may not have been added yet 
  • Access may still be pending 

Recommended action: 
Ask the project owner to confirm your access. 

When Projects or Tasks Were Removed 

If projects or tasks were removed intentionally: 

  • They may no longer be visible 
  • This is expected behavior 

Check with your Project Manager for clarification. 

Steps to Resolve Most Visibility Issues 

Try these steps in order: 

  1. Confirm correct workspace 
  1. Confirm correct login account 
  1. Confirm project access 
  1. Ask admin to review your role 

These steps resolve most cases. 

When to Contact Support 

Contact support if: 

  • Projects disappear unexpectedly 
  • Access changes do not apply correctly 
  • Visibility issues persist after access confirmation 

Provide: 

  • Workspace name 
  • Your email address 
  • Description of the missing project or task
